Cole is loving baseball, he is doing really well, it has been a cold season, hopefully things will start warming up soon!

This is Kiya's 8th season in soccer, her and Cole have been on the same team every season which is nice because I get to coach both of them.

This is Cole's 9th season in soccer, he says he likes soccer better than football, basketball and baseball. I think it's because he has played for so long and is really good at it. It's been so fun to coach them, but I think after this season I am going to take a break.

Marlee's city track meet, breaking city records held for 27 years!!!

Marlee had her city track meet this week. Yes I'm going to brag a little, isn't that what mom's do. Marlee got 1st place in her 100m open almost breaking the city record, she got 13.4 seconds the record is 13.3. In her 200m open she got 1st place almost breaking the record again with a time of 27.86 seconds, city record 27.33. She is the first 7th grade girl to have a time under 28 seconds in around 7 years!! Her times we also faster in both the 100 and the 200 than all the 8th grade girls and all but 1 of the 7th grade boys. Marlee's 4x1 relay team broke the city record held since 1981, (27 years) with a time of 56 sec, which was faster than the 7th grade boys team. This is a picture of the girls. Her 4x2 relay team placed second. Way to go Marlee!!!! We are so proud of you!!! Down below are several video clips of her city races this week.

Is it still winter?

Huh, this is what we woke up to on May 1st, about 5 inches of snow, is it ever going to be Spring??? We have had the coldest, longest winter with snow from September through May. Please be spring!!
